Tonight i am also here to confess that i am not a Bright Student nor will i ever be and nor do i intend to study that something that i would never understand as i Don’t Like Mugging up, Not Good in Studies, Have tooti Footi English, Not so better than the ordinary guys around, Have always done what my parents wanted me to do, probably naa not what my parents wanted me to do, but yeah what the Society would accept see me do . I Don’t know why do every student have to be the brightest in the class? Why everyone has to be in S.t Stephens or Venky or Xaviers or bloody IIm’s and yes how can i forget the brainy IIT’s who have a great Alumni and all those stupid geeks love to flaunt that name thought out their life ? Why do every one has to Study Maths or take Commerce or Science even when they Don’t know what would with that subject, Why were we just taught Chemistry, was it just about mixing H2So4 with some bloody sulphuric acid or probably it is called that shit ? Wish if Education REALLY HAD A MEANING and Every teacher took there subject enjoyably and wish all of them Had The Real Passion for there Subject, Wish they would have done their work with so much passion and not working like machines and got Stick to that ONE Job and Scared throughout their life of being FIRED.

Why Don’t people understand that if things are done FROM the HEART they really leave an Impact and doing things just for the sake of it is not good, Be it Anything in life. Trust me Anything, We and I need to get the basics Right. Our life is just like a person whose legs have been cut and he lives his life with them without even complaining. I Don’t know what is exactly but yes Something is Surely Missing.

I can experience the High of everything being so Good Around, I wish if people were more understanding and wish if more people could connect to the Heart, its so pure so Magical feels like a dream coming true ^So silent ^ So clean ^So much freedom of thoughts, Its about connecting with the Soul deep inside, the power of purity, excellent magical words, a place where i have been, a paradise indeed. just love it to the core, i believe that this kind off a place exists and will remain to exist but it isnt easily access-able  to realize it.

Junk/जुन्क ( kuda ) Yard/यर्द ( Bagh ) Groove/ग्रूवे  ( Ghoomna )   and if we compile the Hindi version thats how it goes  Kuda Bagh Ghoomna (कुद बघ गहूम्न )   \m/ but seriously lets not go by the name, these guys play some serious Alternative Rock Music, Completely different from the others, yeah! completely !

Over the years the Indian sub continent has been brewing quiet a few underground rock bands, and in the summer of 2005 Chennai gave us Junkyard Groove.

Craig Maxworth(jazzy bass ) got together almost randomly and realized that they had something to contribute to the world of Indian Rock and Roll. ( जुन्क यर्द ग्रूवे )

Ameeth started of his music career fronting a few other bands before Junkyard Groove, as was the same with the other guys. Siddharth the youngest of the lot played with bands that found there roots in classic and funk rock covers. Craig entered the music scene with a band that was pretty much a ‘Rage Against The Machine’ tribute band.

Maybe your reading this to find out more about Junkyard Groove. Or maybe you already know what ever you need to know about them, from Myspace and Facebook. Maybe you’ve seen them live at a few local rock competitions. Maybe you’ve seen them win every one of them. Maybe you’ve jumped around to their music at shows like ‘Rock In India’, ‘Channel V Launch PAD’, ‘Strawberry Fields’… etc Maybe you got a little to drunk and passed out before they finished their set. Maybe you heard of them when they opened for the Dubai Desert Rock Festival. Or maybe you just came over to watch Iron Maiden and Incubus. Maybe you’ve listened to their music online and liked it. Maybe you hated it. Maybe you’re sick and tired of waiting for their album to come out. Or maybe you felt better when you heard that the new GNR album might beat them to it.

With their fourth birthday around the corner Junkyard Groove is going through a lot of difficult negotiations to get their Album out. The Music is good but the Music Industry is not such a pretty picture after all. But never the less the album would be out eventually, and we would all go back home with smiles on our faces.

Who knows maybe they’d be in your city next weekend, and maybe there just might be a lot of alcohol around, and maybe you just might pass out before they finish their set. If that happens this has been a brief overview of the madness that is Junkyard Groove.

A Complete Band, Seems would Go faar ffffaaaar away.
